Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year!

Navene managed to pull it off as solo songwriter (bar Evan writing bass lines maybe). I will say though that Dark Future maybe had better overall flow, but the individual song arrangements here are special indeed. Melodic dissonance that I could only wish I were able to write. Congrats Entheos.
